Procedure & Timeline:
Phase 1: Estate Auditing & Asset Discovery
Verifying deadlines, researching property titles at the Cadastre/Mortgage Registries, and recovering all necessary legal records and certificates from public authorities.
Phase 2: Inheritance Tax Engineering
Drafting and filing the inheritance tax returns, optimizing tax thresholds, and securing legal clearances with the Greek independent tax authorities (AADE).
Phase 3: Notarial Closing & Title Drafting
Preparing the formal Acceptance of Inheritance Deed (Apodochi Klironomias), coordinating with notaries, and executing the cross-border legal signings.
Phase 4: Final Registration & Asset Handover
Official registration of the deed at the competent Cadastral Office (Ktimatologio), securing clean property titles, and delivering the verified asset portfolio to the heirs.
